Job Summary Details:

The Baggage Service Office Agent provides exceptional customer service to passengers experiencing issues with delayed lost or damaged baggage. This role involves tracking baggage processing claims and coordinating with internal teams and external vendors to ensure timely resolution.

Location: Denver International Airport(MUST BE ABLE TO COMMUNICATE IN ENGLISH)
Payrate: $19.81 Hourly

Basic Qualifications:

Must be 18 years of age or older
No high school diploma GED or college degree required

Preferred Qualifications:

One (1) year of prior work experience preferred (MUST BE ABLE TO COMMUNICATE IN ENGLISH)

Primary Responsibilities

Customer Assistance: Meet and greet passengers in baggage claim areas assist with lost delayed or damaged luggage issues.
Baggage Tracking: Log flights and monitor baggage delivery; update records for late-arriving bags.
Claims Management: Initiate and update files for lost damaged or stolen baggage using airline systems (e.g. BMAS SABRE).
Coordination: Work with ramp services and delivery vendors to ensure timely return of baggage.
Communication: Provide airport and airline information to passengers; make baggage arrival announcements.
Compliance: Follow FAA airline and company regulations; adhere to safety and security standards.
Miscellaneous Duties: Handle unclaimed luggage prepare delivery orders and maintain accurate documentation.

Skills

Strong customer service and communication skills.
Ability to work under pressure and multitask.
Familiarity with airline systems and baggage handling processes.
Basic computer and data entry skills.

Work Environment

Airport-based often requiring flexible shifts (including weekends and holidays).
Physical activity: lifting baggage standing for long periods.
