Role and Responsibilities
- Develop and implement daily weekly and periodic sanitation schedules.
- Lead and supervise a team of sanitation technicians.
- Provide training guidance and performance feedback to ensure high standards of cleanliness and safety.
- Implement and enforce sanitation procedures to meet regulatory requirements and industry standards.
- Ensure that cleaning chemicals and methods are used effectively and safely.
- Conduct regular inspections to verify the cleanliness and hygiene of production areas and equipment.
- Manage inventory of sanitation supplies and chemicals.
- Ensure compliance with sanitation regulations company policies and industry standards.
- Maintain accurate records of sanitation activities including cleaning schedules checklists and corrective actions.
- Assist in preparing documentation for internal and external audits.
- Implement innovative solutions to enhance sanitation practices.
- Provide ongoing training to sanitation team members on proper cleaning techniques safety protocols and regulatory requirements.
- Ensure that team members are well-informed and up to date on sanitation best practices.
Qualifications and Education Requirements
4 or more years of experience as Sanitation Lead.
Requirements
Preferred Skills
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in sanitation or related field is a plus.
- Proven experience in sanitation roles with leadership responsibilities.
- Knowledge of sanitation procedures chemicals and safety regulations.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Bilingual preferred
