Job Summary

We are looking for a Receptionist/Cashier to manage all transactions with customers accurately and efficiently. As a Receptionist/Cashier you will be the first point of contact for our company. Our Receptionists duties include offering administrative support across the organization. You will welcome guests and greet people who visit the business. You will also coordinate front-desk activities including distributing correspondence and redirecting phone calls.

To be successful as a Receptionist/Cashier you should have a pleasant personality as this is also a customer service role. Multitasking andstress management skillsare essential for this position. This role may require working in shifts so flexibility is a plus.

We are looking for a Receptionist/Cashier to manage all transactions with customers accurately and efficiently.

Job responsibilities include receiving payments and issuing receiptsand keeping track of all cash Check and credit transactions. To be successful in this role you should have previous experience in a customer service position. You should also be available to take evening and weekend shifts.

Responsibilities

  • Manage transactions with customers
  • Collect payments whether in cash Check or credit
  • Issue receipts refunds change or tickets
  • Greet customers when entering or leaving the store
  • Maintain clean and tidy work area
  • Track transactions on balance sheets and report any discrepancies
  • Direct visitors to the appropriate person or department
  • Answer screen and forward incoming phone calls
  • Provide basic and accurate information in-person and via phone/email
  • Perform other clerical receptionist duties such as filing photocopying transcribing and faxing
