Job Summary

Our Middle School Science Teacher will provide students with a comprehensive academic
experience using the Archdiocesan and State of Maryland Science curriculum for grades 6-8th.
This is a full-time benefit eligible 10-month teaching position.

Essential Functions

Maintains high professional standards consistent with the mission of the school and the
teaching of the Catholic Church.
Plans and implements instructional programs with clear objectives in line with the
Archdiocese of Baltimore and State of MD Standards.
Creates an instructional environment conducive to learning
Maintains accurate and complete records of students progress and development in a
timely manner.
Communicates standards achievements and deficiencies to students and parents through
email phone calls conferences and electronic gradebook.
Responsible for the safety and active supervision of students both in and outside of the
classroom.

Position Qualifications

Bachelors Degree required
MSDE Certification or the willingness to obtain certification required
Classroom teaching experience preferred
Proficient in using a variety of technology
