Shift Hours: 7:00pm - 7:00am

Location/Division Specific Information:

As part of the Pharma Services Group (PSG) the High Point NC site focuses on gelatin-based drug delivery dosage forms (softgels). We offer extensive development and commercial scale capabilities for a variety of softgels technologies.

How Will You Make an Impact

The Machine Operator II will be responsible for operating an encapsulating machine to produce products form pre-mixed ingredients insuring proper temperatures machine settings equipment set-ups in process measurements and quality product.

A Day in the Life:

  • Manufacture of simple bulk products
  • Observes machine operation. Adjust as needed. Takes samples of product and performs in process testing.
  • Assists Set-Up person to set up machine empty basket and clean and prepare machine for changeover. Also assists with the actual changeover.
  • Assists with cleanup and other Encapsulation duties as needed. May perform other reasonable related business duties.
  • Operates inline printing equipment

Education:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.

Experience:

  • Required: Minimum of 1 year of work experience in a manufacturing operations production or lab setting or related field.
  • Preferred: Experience in a cGMP environment

Knowledge Skills Abilities:

  • Excellent verbal and written skills
  • Ability to interpret data perform basic calculations and troubleshooting skills
  • The ability to work a 12-hour shift in a 24-hour 7 day per week operation.
  • Meet DEA security clearance requirements if requested.
  • Must be able to work overtime if necessary.

Physical Requirements / Work Environment

Must be able to frequently lift/push/pull/carry up to 50 pounds
