Team Manager Systems
Fixed Term Contract 12 months initially with the possibility of being made permanent.
About the role:
Were looking for a skilled and motivated Systems Team Manager to lead the Childrens Social Work and Education Systems team within our centralised Digital Data and Technology (DDaT) function.
This is a key leadership role responsible for ensuring our core systems: LiquidLogic (LCS EHM EYES) ContrOCC and associated web portals are effectively supported continuously improved and aligned with both national and local priorities.
You will lead and manage a team of system professionals including two System Leads and a wider team of 7 system support officers and act as the internal product owner for key systems overseeing system enhancements user engagement and supplier relationships.
You will coordinate and deliver a high-quality support service for information and case management systems across Childrens Social Work and Education and run user groups gather and prioritise requirements and ensure systems are accessible fit for purpose and compliant with statutory requirements.
You will have responsibility for liaising with suppliers to escalate tickets and drive service improvements whilst ensuring robust business continuity and disaster recovery plans are in place. The role will support financial processes and system interfaces with corporate finance systems whilst providing specialist advice training and guidance to users and stakeholders. You will also be required to manage budgets and contribute to strategic planning and project delivery including new initiatives such as AI functionality to optimise case work.
About the candidate:
We would like to hear from you if you have strong experience in application lifecycle management system support and project delivery. You have proven ability to lead and develop high-performing teams along with experience of excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills along with knowledge of LiquidLogic systems (LCS EHM EYES) which is essential to undertake this role.
An understanding of childrens Social Work and public sector environments is highly desirable whilst being a proactive solution-focused approach with a commitment to continuous improvement.
