Job Summary

Connoisseur Media - San Antonio is looking for an entry-level full-time Operations and Promotions Coordinator to represent our stations:94.1 San Antonios Sports Star; 102.7 JACK-FM; La Ley 95.7-FM; Norteno 104.1-FM; and 550 KTSA-AM. Youll be the face of our brandsinteracting with listeners setting up eye-catching displays running games and giveaways and helping bring the fun wherever we go. Were looking for someone with a dynamic presence who is comfortable interacting with diverse groups of people reliable punctual friendly and who thrives in a team setting. You should be comfortable taking direction talking with the public and handling quick setups and tear-downs with a positive attitude as well as other duties as assigned by the Operations Manager.

This is an in-person full-time must have a can-do attitude ability to adapt quickly as changing responsibilities are a constant in this role.

Responsibilities of this position may include the following:

Execute promotions such as remotes events van appearances and other marketing and promotions team activities.
Conduct site checks for upcoming live broadcasts using Comrex NX Tieline and Teltonika wireless cellular routers with basic knowledge of TCP/IP.
Execute live broadcasts using Comrex NX Tieline and Teltonika wireless cellular routers with basic knowledge of TCP/IP.
Setting up station events: raising tents plugging in sound systems putting up signage/banners.
Dress appropriately for each station format.
Managing the events while in progress: interacting with listeners leading games prize wheels speaking on the microphone/PA.
Capture and recap promotional events via photos video audio social media etc.
Coordinate contest prize inventory prize sheets/slips prize fulfillment and release forms.
Building/facilities work to include communicating with leadership correcting building needs in-house and communicating with contractors.
Board operations for a variety of radio stations at events and as needed fill in.

Requirements for this position include the following:

Experience with GSuite (docs sheets slides etc.)
Excellent driving record valid drivers license and proof of insurability
Physical ability to stand for multiple hours and lift or move 40-pound objects
Organizational skills: ability to prioritize and effectively manage time
Position requires working weekdays evenings weekends holidays and on call. Evenings and weekends- hours will vary. Weekend work early mornings and late evenings will vary fairly consistently along with client and business needs.
This position requires a fully insured personal vehicle and a valid drivers license.

Preference may be given to candidates who have the above experience plus the following:

Previous experience in outdoor promotions and/or marketing/customer service is a plus.
Bilingual.
