SUBSTITUTE - ON CALL
POSITION:	Technology Support Specialist
TYPE:	On call as needed. These positions work Monday-Friday.
COMPENSATION:	Range 42; Schedule M; Step 1: $ 34.46 Hourly
TYPE OF RECRUITMENT:	This is anOPEN recruitment to establish a list of substitutesfor the classification of Technology Support Specialist (Substitute). No effort will be made to maintain a rank order of the applicants (P.C. Rule 60.100.5).
TESTING PROCEDURE:	The examination process will consist of a written and oral technical examination. Applicants will be notified via email regarding their status. Those selected to participate in the testing process will receive additional details including the date and location of the exam once the schedule is finalized.
DESCRIPTION:	Under the direction of the Director of Information Management Services or designee to perform a variety of technology support services. Provides technology support for administrators students certificated and classified employees. Please click here for a complete job description.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:	Any combination of education training and experience which demonstrates ability to perform the duties and responsibilities as described. Typical ways of demonstrating three (3) qualifications include: Graduation from high school supplemented by college-level coursework in computer science or related field and three years experience in the installation operation and maintenance of computer workstations servers peripherals and related equipment. Experience supporting users in a high school environment or equivalent is preferred. An Associates of Arts degree in computer science or related field or completion IT technical training certificate is desirable.
LICENSE REQUIREMENTS:	Possession of a valid California drivers license.
