Job Title: Radiology / CT Technologist
Location: Falmouth MA (Coastal Massachusetts Region)
Assignment Duration: 13 Weeks
Schedule: 5x8s Evening/Night Shift
Weekly Gross Pay: $3416
Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced CT Technologist to perform high-quality CT imaging procedures with accuracy safety and professionalism in a fast-paced clinical environment. The ideal candidate demonstrates strong clinical judgment excellent patient care skills and the ability to operate CT imaging equipment with precision.
Education Requirements
Primary Responsibilities
Perform CT scanning procedures requiring independent clinical judgment and attention to detail.
Operate CT console peripheral devices and related radiologic equipment.
Position and prepare patients for scans ensuring safety comfort and cooperation.
Select proper imaging techniques and evaluate completed images for diagnostic quality.
Review and process imaging orders while maintaining patient confidentiality.
Provide clear explanations to patients regarding procedures and expectations.
Assist physicians and nurses with patient monitoring and contrast media procedures.
Maintain accurate documentation and imaging records.
Ensure compliance with radiation safety protocols infection control standards and facility operational policies.
Participate in ongoing professional education and remain in good standing with required credentials.
Perform additional duties as assigned to support departmental workflow.
Required Certifications & Licensure
ARRT (R) certification required
Massachusetts State License in Radiation Control
BLS (AHA) required
CT Certification through ARRT or completion of accredited CT training program
Experience Qualification (one of the following):
3 years experience as Radiologic Technologist or
1 year CT Tech experience within last 5 years or
1 year Radiologic Technologist experience in a hospital environment
Experience Requirements
Minimum 1 year of recent CT imaging experience strongly preferred
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Strong communication and patient interaction skills
