Job Summary

Purpose of the Role

The post of Clinical Nurse Manager 2 Occupational Health has a pivotal role in service planning co-ordinating and managing activity and resources within the clinical area.

The main responsibilities are delivery of Occupational Health Services based on National Occupational Health Service Standards.

Essential Criteria

Eligible applicants will be those who on the closing date for the competition:

(I) Are registered in the General Division of the Register of Nurses & Midwives maintained by the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland NMBI and hold a qualification relevant to the discipline of Occupational Health OR be currently studying a relevant qualification.

AND

(ii) Have at least 5 years post registration experience (or an aggregate of 5 years fulltime post registration experience) of which 2 years must be in the specialty or related area of Occupational Health.

AND

(iii) Candidates must possess the requisite knowledge and ability including a high standard of suitability and clinical managerial and administrative capacity to properly discharge the functions of the role.

AND

(i.v)Candidates must demonstrate evidence of continuous professional development.
