Job Summary

Designer Contracts is the UKs largest flooring contractor operating across 13 regional facilities. As well as floor covering the company provides curtains and blinds furniture and lighting.

Due to our continued growth we have an exciting opportunity for a Sales Advisor to join our friendly team based in Kettering.

Salary - 26500 plus bonus

Type Permanent Full Time

Working Pattern Monday to Friday 8:30am to 5:00pm

This role has an absolute focus on sales to maximise business. The ideal candidate will be able to bring in new customers and grow existing ones across all sectors and product groups.

We are looking for a confident proactive individual who will be self-motivated and forward-thinking in their approach to maximise sales and profit.

Key areas of responsibilities include:

Selling goods directly to the public from the shop display
Ensuring that all goods for sale are correctly labelled and displayed safely.
Providing an excellent service whilst complying to our Customer Service Policy.
Being available to deliver to site when required
Assisting with the loading and unloading of goods from vehicles
Carrying out administration and housekeeping duties in relation to the warehouse
Ensuring merchandise and warehouse security
Ensuring that high health and safety standards are maintained at all times

Key requirements:

Be a strong team player with excellent communication skills
Great organisation skills with accuracy and attention to detail
A full UK driving license to complete driving duties
Must be willing to undertake training for a Fork Lift Truck certificate
Ability to work efficiently and safely under pressure
