The internship is within the Bosch R&D department where we look after heating products throughout their lifecycle from concept/idea stage to the end-of-life. The R&D team consists of design and development engineers as well as project and product managers working together to create market leading heating systems.
In this role you will be responsible for:
Based in Worcester you will have the chance to work for a dynamic company to enrich your knowledge and experience. During your 12 month internship you will have the opportunity to support on a range of design & mechanical engineering topics and become an integral part of the team. You will gain experience in:
- CAD modelling & technical drawings
- Design workshop and rapid prototypes
- Operating and maintaining 3D printers
- Testing appliances
- Liaising with colleagues and suppliers internationally
You will be working in a team with and learning from talented engineers with a variety of skills

Qualifications :
Please note that to be eligible for this role you must be an undergraduate student seeking a placement year as part of your degree - if you do not meet these criteria please consider applying for other positions.
Our ideal candidate must have:
- Must be an undergraduate student in an engineering related subject
- Must have some prior familiarity with a CAD software
Our ideal candidate should have:
- The ability to effectively prioritize tasks and manage time
- Proficiency in clear and effective communication both in verbal and visual formats
