Job Summary
T. Baker Smith LLC is seeking an Environmental Professional with the desire to learn grow and develop their professional skill sets be invested as part of a team and contribute to their community. This position will focus our natural resources and coastal efforts in Texas.
Your Opportunity:
- Collaborate learn and grow yourself with other motivated professional associates as part of a team supporting communities and clients.
- Assist in the development and coordination of environmental projects.
- Conduct fieldwork for wetland delineations threatened and endangered species surveys due diligence site studies and other environmental field activities.
- Prepare the deliverables for projects as part of an integrated team.
- Review technical reports and provide technical recommendations.
- Coordinate the technical aspects of a variety of environmental and regulatory services.
- Contact government agencies or private consultants to obtain information for studies.
- Participate in proposal development as part of the business development process.
- Achieve the scope budget and schedule of the project under the direction of the project.
- Maintain current knowledge of equipment techniques procedures and regulations.
- Assist TBS Environmental Discipline to continue to improve and utilize innovative technology.
- Participate in professional development and training.
Desired Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor of Science Degree or M.S. in environmental science coastal or marine science biology forestry or similar field.
- Ability to relate to clients and people at all levels of the organization and must possess excellent communication and diplomacy skills.
