Material Handler


We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented warehouse employee to join our shipping and receiving team. The shipping and receiving team is responsible for maintaining inventory of products used on utility-scale solar this role you will be responsible for counting packaging and moving items around the warehouse. You will be closely working with the harness production team. Prior experience operating a forklift is ideal but not required. This is a full-time day shift position and working hours are 7:30 AM until 3:30 PM. No weekends. Please note that overtime hours will be expected of the candidate.

Pay Rate: $18.00 Per Hour

Key Responsibilities:
Assist the shipping and receiving team with various tasks such as counting packaging and moving items around the warehouse.
Attention to Detail
Adhere to Safety Standards: Ensure all work is completed according to company
safety guidelines and best practices maintaining a safe work environment at all
times.
Collaborate with Team: Work closely with supervisors and other team
members to meet targets deadlines and quality benchmarks.
Continuous Improvement: Participate in training and initiatives to improve
efficiency quality and processes. Suggest improvements to workflows
when necessary.

Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent. Additional technical training or certifications in
electrical or manufacturing fields is a plus.

Experience operating a forklift is preferred but not required.
Prior experience in production manufacturing or assembly preferably in electrical
or solar-related industries is preferred
Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality standards.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings electrical schematics and
assembly instructions.
Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
Basic understanding of electrical systems components and safety practices.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team and communicate clearly.
Ability to lift heavy objects and stand for extended periods of time as required in a
production environment.

Physical Requirements

  • Must comply with client safety requirements (e.g. clean-shaven long sleeves steel-toe boots).
  • Must pass a physical exam if required.
  • Able to:
    • Climb and maintain balance on ladders scaffolding and stairways.
    • Stoop kneel crouch crawl and work at heights or in confined spaces (e.g. towers vessels excavations).
    • Lift and carry up to 50 lbs. (Use assistance for heavier loads).
    • Stand or walk for extended periods on uneven surfaces (dirt concrete asphalt mud gravel).
  • Must be able to wear a respirator and other PPE when required.

  • Industrial construction sites and/or fabrication shops.
