To support the QSHE Director and National Senior QSHE Manager in the delivery of management services through:
- Conducting internal audits in line with ISO and 45001 standards to ensure compliance across contracts and business operations.
- Supporting operational managers with day-to-day QSHE advice guidance and best practice to maintain statutory and contractual compliance.
- Assisting with national initiatives to improve quality safety health and environmental performance.
- Supporting the administration maintenance and continual improvement of the companys QSHE management systems.
Principle Duties and Responsibilities
- Support the QSHE Director and National Senior QSHE Manager with the day to day running of the QSHE services/offering and business activities and the development of good practice in policy and procedures.
- Plan and conduct site visits inspections and QSHE audits across Atlas contracts in line with the ISO integrated management system.
- Support contract and operational managers in maintaining compliance with statutory requirements company procedures and client expectations.
- Assist with the investigation and close-out of accidents incidents and near-misses ensuring effective root-cause analysis and CAPA implementation.
- Contribute to the upkeep of QSHE systems including incident management legal register audit platform and CAFM systems.
- Monitor and support the completion of risk assessments method statements and COSHH assessments where required.
- Support the roll-out of behavioural safety health and environmental awareness initiatives.
- Assist in maintaining the accuracy of records dashboards and compliance trackers across all QSHE systems.
- Produce concise audit and compliance reports escalating findings as necessary.
- Support internal communications training delivery and awareness campaigns within personal competency limits.
- Contribute to the continual improvement of the integrated management system identifying opportunities to simplify or strengthen processes.
- Be available to respond within a reasonable time period to any accidents / incidents that require QSHE investigation.
- Remain up to date with current legislation and changes in group policy and procedures making sure these are effectively communicated where necessary.
- Any other reasonable duties as required by Atlas Workplace Services.
Minimum Qualifications Certifications and Training required
- NEBOSH General Certificate or equivalent as minimum (at least 3 years post-qualification experience)
Essential Knowledge Skills and Experience for this role
- Good IT Skills and Experience Microsoft knowledge.
- FM IT systems. (Desirable)
- Good verbal & written communication skills.
- Awareness of environmental legislation and best practices.(Desirable)
- FM M&E and/or multi-site experience
- Working knowledge of Certified Management Systems such as ISO 45001 ISO 14001 and ISO 9001(Desirable)
- Working knowledge of legislation and statutory compliances within the facilities management sector(Desirable)
- Experience/involvement of implementing monitoring and reviewing management systems(Desirable)
