Whats The Job
The Sanitation Lead plays a key role in maintaining a clean safe and high-quality production environment. This position serves as the first point of contact for sanitation-related issues across packaging blending and dispensing operations. The Sanitation Lead will oversee daily sanitation activities ensuring compliance with all food safety and SQF standards while leading a team to maintain cleanliness and productivity. This role partners closely with Quality Operations and Maintenance teams to ensure production areas meet or exceed company sanitation expectations.

Schedule: Full-time hourly. 2nd Shift.

What Youll Be Doing Stop Scanning and Read This Part
  • Lead and direct sanitation team members during all cleaning and changeover activities.
  • Ensure all cleaning and sanitizing tasks are completed according to the Master Sanitation Schedule.
  • Collaborate with Packaging Dispensing and Blending departments to achieve established sanitation and production goals.
  • Audit sanitation staff for compliance and accuracy of cleaning processes.
  • Perform and oversee cleaning of machinery fillers pallets bins drums and utensils using appropriate sanitation methods.
  • Monitor and restock all cleaning supplies and communicate inventory needs to the Quality Control Supervisor.
  • Maintain proper storage and segregation of allergen and non-allergen cleaning equipment.
  • Complete and maintain required sanitation documentation and logbooks.
  • Support company initiatives related to food safety quality improvement and continuous improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with SQF GMP and food safety standards throughout all sanitation operations.
  • Fully engage with company initiatives identified as critical to the success of the business.
  • Other duties as assigned.

What Youve Done and Who You Are
  • 12 years of prior lead experience in a manufacturing or food production environment.
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) required.
  • Experience supporting and training team members in a production environment.
  • Computer literacy required; experience with G-Suite or Slack preferred.
  • Process improvement mindset with attention to detail and accountability.
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Flexible willing and quick to learn new processes technology and ways of thinking.
  • A relentless drive to get things done and to foster a culture of collaboration and success.

  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times.
  • Must be able to work near food ingredients and potential allergens.

  • Location: inside an air-conditioned manufacturing and warehouse environment.
