Part time (0.6 FTE) Term Time Permanent contract

Salary: Point 35 38 - 52273 to 56115 gross pay per annum depending on qualifications and relevant experience. Pro-rata salary range for this post will be 31363.80 to 33669 gross pay per annum to reflect Term Time and 0.6 FTE contract.

Whitgift is a leading independent day and boarding school for boys with approximately 1500 pupils including over one hundred boarding pupils and flexi boarding pupils. It is set in an attractive 48-acre parkland site in South Croydon enjoying excellent links to London Surrey and the south coast.

Sport and physical activity play a central role in the life of Whitgift. Many boys are attracted to the School not just because of the academic excellence but also the considerable opportunities that exist in physical education both in the curriculum and in co-curricular activities. Central to the work of everyone in the Sports Department is a desire to encourage pupils to give their very best at whatever level they can achieve. The result is an enormous number of boys involved in sporting activities of one kind or another and very high quality in all activities culminating in professional standards for many of the most talented boys.

We are seeking to appoint a Head of Keyboard who will deliver high-quality teaching while managing and supporting visiting music teachers fostering consistency collaboration and professional development within the team. The role oversees pupil performance opportunities and musical outreach to raise standards and participation
