Background
To assist in the PERSONA research (by carrying out data collection or analyses) conducted by the Chan Lab and to provide general research support for projects in the Chan Lab. The PERSONA (Patient-led Evaluation of body Rhythm and Sleep to uncOver Novel Aspects of epilepsy) study is a research project led by Dr. Felix Chan from the Department of Pharmacy School of Health Sciences. The goal of this study is to measure body rhythm and sleep profile in patients with rare genetic epilepsy to understand potential new mechanisms that relate to rare genetic epilepsy. This is an interdisciplinary project that involves other senior investigators from the School of Psychology University of Birmingham and external collaborators from Aston University and Newcastle University in the UK.

Person Specification
Bachelors degree or equivalent in relevant subject area (Pharmacy Neuroscience Psychology preferred)
Practical experience of applying the relevant skills and techniques
Previous experience in psychology or similar human research project
Ability to analyse information and communicate effectively
Ability to access and organise resources successfully
Knowledge of the protected characteristics of the Equality Act 2010 and how to actively ensure in day to day activity in own area that those with protected characteristics are treated equally and fairly
