About This Role:
Were looking for a creative and detail-oriented Video Editor to support one of our fast-growing e-commerce clients in the medical apparel industry (D2C Australian brand). The role focuses on producing 8-12 engaging and high-performing video ads per week across Facebook Instagram and YouTube.
Your edits will help drive conversions through direct-response storytelling that resonates with real healthcare professionals and consumers. This opportunity starts on a part-time/hourly basis with the potential to grow into a long-term full-time role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Edit UGC raw product footage and b-roll into short-form ads optimized for Facebook Instagram and YouTube.
- Add captions text overlays transitions and motion graphics to maximize viewer retention.
- Produce 8-12 ad creatives weekly that maintain consistent brand tone and strong visual appeal.
- Create and iterate direct-response ad variants (including short VSLs and refreshes).
- Repurpose and enhance existing content based on creative feedback and ad performance.
- Manage multiple projects while meeting deadlines consistently.
- Stay updated on social video trends platform best practices and performance insights.
Software/Platforms/Tools:
- Must-Have:
- CapCut or professional editing tools (Adobe Premiere Pro Final Cut Pro or DaVinci Resolve)
- Canva or similar tools for adding text overlays and quick graphics
- Nice-to-Have:
- AI-assisted tools (e.g. ChatGPT Runway Pika OpusClip)
- Understanding of export settings and optimization for Meta and YouTube Ads
Qualifications:
- Only open to candidates based in Latin America.
- 3-5 years of freelancing experience
- 2-4 years of professional experience editing short-form video ads
- Strong portfolio of social ads (Reels Shorts TikTok Paid Social)
- Experience in direct-response and D2C e-commerce content (preferred)
- Excellent sense of pacing storytelling and visual rhythm
- Strong English communication skills (C1/C2 proficiency)
- Reliable organized and able to work independently
- Open to feedback and eager to grow in a fast-paced creative environment
Shift Schedule:
- Monday to Friday flexible hours with some overlap during Australian or US business hours for check-ins and collaboration.
- For LATAM candidates we request availability between 7:00 PM - 11:00 PM (LATAM time) (9:00 AM - 1:00 PM AU time) for team syncs typically a few short meetings each week including one all-hands session. The rest of your schedule is self-paced with communication mainly through Slack.
