As a Manufacturing Quality Engineer you will:
- Drive FMEA activities to ensure product is manufactured to the highest quality standards
- Work closely with Design & Manufacturing Engineers to ensure product & processes are designed with product quality as a top priority
- Lead Root Cause Analysis & Containment efforts for any manufacturing defects or quality deviations
- Analyze failure data to drive continuous improvement projects across all aspects of manufacturing
- Design and implement quality control plans including inspection and testing procedures for incoming materials and finished products.
- Collaborate with Suppliers and Internal Supply Chain teams to define & communicate quality standards
- Conduct process validations including equipment qualification and process stability studies to ensure manufacturing processes meet quality standards
- Support validation of product changes and onsite FAI efforts
Qualifications
- 3 years in Quality Manufacturing or Design Engineering
- Proven experience in developing quality systems in a product launch environment
- Demonstrated understanding of Manufacturing Quality Systems and statistical analysis
- Direct experience collaborating with Design Engineering Supply Chain and Manufacturing Teams
- Strong attention to detail and demonstrated ability to identify & resolve quality defects
- Understanding and interpretation of engineering drawings
- Bachelors degree in relevant engineering discipline
Additional Requirements
- Willing to work extended hours and weekends if needed
$120000 - $180000 a year
The above range is the salary range. This position will also receive generous equity!
