As a Supplier Quality Engineer you will
- Work with design engineering to qualify all Bill of Material and related vendor manufacturing processes
- Lead discussions with design engineering on DFM and manufacturing process selection
- Address all quality issues during build stage and rectify/corrective actions to solve
- Setup vendor manufacturing processes to ensure Nimble requirements are met
- Perform Root Cause analysis and put in place countermeasures
- Work with design to ensure suppliers meet all our reliability requirements
- Audit and oversee supplier equipment performance yields and CT
- Lead investigations of issues at Vendors related to product development and procurement of parts
- Plan organize direct and report all activities and matters relating to supplier performance
- Assess supplier qualifications including training and certifications
- Keep up with current and developing manufacturing and engineering trends that concern product quality
- Self-starter seeks opportunities to improve processes part quality and overall efficiency
Qualifications
- 3 years experience in Design Engineering Quality Manufacturing
- Proven experience in developing suppliers or launching products
- Knowledge of quality and business systems
- Understanding and interpretation of engineering drawings
- Understanding manufacturing material flow process change and quality processes
- Strong sense for customer service and high attention to detail
- Direct experience collaborating with engineering and/or manufacturing operations
- Ability to work on own initiative and knows when to seek guidance
- Bachelors degree in engineering discipline
- Ability to travel up to 30% possibly on short notice.
Additional Requirements
- Willing to work extended hours and weekends if needed
$120000 - $180000 a year
The above range is the salary range. This position will also receive generous equity!
