An established and respected engineering consulting firm is seeking a Senior Electrical Project Engineer to lead the design and delivery of electrical systems for a variety of commercial retail and institutional projects.

This is an ideal opportunity for a licensed Professional Engineer who enjoys technical challenges thrives in a leadership role and is passionate about shaping high-quality code-compliant building systems. Youll take ownership of major projects collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and guide engineers and designers toward successful outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead electrical design for power distribution lighting fire alarm and low-voltage systems.

• Serve as Engineer of Record (EOR) on key projects.

• Oversee design documentation specifications and calculations.

• Manage electrical project scopes schedules and budgets.

• Collaborate with architects contractors and other disciplines to deliver coordinated designs.

• Review submittals perform site visits and ensure construction aligns with design intent.

• Mentor junior engineers and designers; review work for accuracy and compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Electrical Engineering (ABET-accredited preferred).

• 12 years of experience in electrical design for building systems.

• Active Professional Engineer (PE) license required.

• Proven success leading MEP design projects through all phases.

• Strong knowledge of NEC NFPA and related codes.

• Proficiency in Revit AutoCAD and Bluebeam; experience with SKM AGi32 or Visual preferred.

• Excellent communication organization and leadership skills.
