The Role:
Reporting to the Director Supply Chain Management the Associate Director Supply Chain Planning will build lead and execute end-to-end planning activities across our fast-growing organization. This role is responsible for developing and executing robust supply plans ensuring supply continuity and supporting strategic business objectives across global external manufacturing and partner networks.
The ideal candidate brings deep pharmaceutical supply planning experience exceptional attention to detail strong cross functional partnership and hands-on experience with advanced planning systems.
Responsibilities:
- Own end-to-end master planning for regulatory starting materials drug substance drug product and finished goods supply
- Build and maintain integrated supply plans aligned with commercial forecasts clinical needs regulatory timelines and inventory strategies
- Partner with CMC Quality Regulatory Technical Operations Finance CDMOs and Commercial teams to drive data-driven planning decisions
- Key contributor to the monthly S&OP processes and ensure alignment across demand supply and financial planning cycles
- Translate demand forecasts into executable supply plans; provide visibility to internal stakeholders and leadership
- Build capacity inventory and safety stock strategies appropriate for clinical and commercial stage operations
- Manage and evolve Smartsheet-based planning tools and implement future digital planning systems
- Conduct scenario planning risk modeling and contingency strategies for supply chain resiliency
- Support new product launches scale-up activities regulatory submissions and tech transfers
- Maintain planning documentation and support audit and inspection readiness
- Continuously drive planning process improvements in a rapidly scaling organization

Qualifications:
- APICS/CPIM/CSCP PMP or Six Sigma certification
- Experience supporting both clinical and commercial supply
- 10 years of direct pharmaceutical supply chain planning experience including end-to-end lifecycle planning (RSM DS DP Finished Goods)
- Experience in biotech or specialty pharma with hands-on oversight of CDMOs
- Bachelors degree in supply chain Engineering Science Business or related field (masters preferred) or related experience
- Strong knowledge of GMP/GxP operations and regulatory requirements
- Fluency in Smartsheet and advanced planning systems (SAP/SAP IBP Oracle etc.)
- Proven ability to operate in high-growth lean environments where flexibility and ownership are essential
- Exceptional attention to detail and ability to manage complex scenarios with precision
- Ability to balance long-term planning with urgent execution needs
- Strong communication influence and stakeholder management skills including presentation to executive leadership
- Due to the global nature of the company early morning or evening meetings are required
- Potential Travel: 10
