About the Job:
We are looking for a Scrum Master to join our clients team in the fintech industry. The role is responsible for facilitating agile ceremonies supporting the development team and ensuring the smooth delivery of high-quality financial technology solutions. You will help foster a collaborative self-organizing and high-performing team environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Facilitate all Scrum ceremonies (daily stand-ups sprint planning reviews and retrospectives).
- Coach and guide teams in Agile principles and best practices fostering a culture of continuous improvement and accountability.
- Partner with Product Owners to refine and maintain a clear actionable product backlog aligned with business goals.
- Identify track and remove delivery impediments while proactively managing risks and dependencies.
- Support the team in improving velocity predictability and quality of deliverables through data-driven insights.
- Collaborate across technology product and operations teams to ensure alignment on sprint priorities and timelines.
- Promote transparency using Agile tools (e.g. Jira Confluence or Azure DevOps) and communicate progress through regular reporting and metrics.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Information Technology Computer Science or related field.
- Proven experience as a Scrum Master in a software development or fintech environment.
- Solid understanding of Agile frameworks (Scrum Kanban) and modern software delivery practices (CI/CD DevOps).
- Strong leadership and facilitation skills with the ability to manage cross-functional collaboration.
- Skilled in using Agile metrics (velocity burn-down cumulative flow) to drive performance and improvement.
- Excellent communication problem-solving and stakeholder management abilities.
- Scrum Master Certification (CSM PSM or equivalent) preferred.
- Experience with regulated environments or financial product development is an advantage.
