Our client a leading Software Information and Communication Technologies company operates internationally (Athens Brussels Luxembourg Copenhagen Stockholm London Nicosia Hong-Kong Valetta etc). Our client is a renowned supplier of IT services to government institutions multinational corporations public administrations and multinational companies research and academic institutes.

Role Overview

Our client currently has a vacancy for an Application Architect (.NET SharePoint) fluent in English to offer his/her services as an expert will work in hybrid mode (30% at the premises in Malta and 70% remotely within EU). The work will be carried out either in the companys premises or on site at customer the context of the first assignment the successful candidate will be integrated in the team of the company that will closely cooperate with a major clients IT team on site.

Requirements

• University degree in IT or relevant discipline combined with minimum 10 years of relevant working experience in IT;
• Advanced experience in technologies such as SharePoint Server (2019 or Subscription Edition) and SharePoint Online SharePoint Framework (SPFx) SharePoint PnP Framework (deployment templates) SharePoint site and list templates SharePoint REST APIs client-side web parts custom actions and PowerShell including use of SharePoint Migration Tool (SPMT) Sharegate or similar toolsets;
• Experience in software development as required in one or more of the following: (Framework 4.x and 6) C# MVC and Web API;
• Working experience with Web APIs and perform systems integrations;
• Experience in Microsoft Entra ID or integration with identity and access management (IAM) systems Microsoft 365 and Azure DevOps;
• Experience in DevOps best practices including continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD);
• Experience in independent work in of one or more front-end JavaScript frameworks such as Angular or React;
• Working experience with Microsoft SQL Server;
• Working experience with the Microsoft Power Platform;
• Excellent command of the English language.

Responsibilities

• Lead and contribute to the solution architecture design development implementation testing and maintenance of information systems;
• Assess propose design prototype develop test configure and maintain technical solutions related to key business requirements for improvements of information systems according to the prioritised backlog agreed between ICT and business. Share insight gained through these activities with the ICT project team(s);
• Provide technical leadership and hands-on support to other members of the ICT project team(s) in requirements engineering work estimation software development deployment and maintenance and support of various information systems;
• Propose and provide the information systems architecture and technology roadmap including upgrade migration and maintenance for SharePoint Online or Azure SharePoint Server Subscription Edition and Microsoft 365 presence;
• Integrate information systems with other systems and/or third-party platforms and tools as required;
• Develop and maintain the solution architecture of information systems according to enterprise architecture and technology roadmap;
• Perform root cause analysis and propose long-term technical solutions;
• Facilitate and actively contribute to quality architecture and application design topics within the ICT Unit;
• Lead and coordinate technical reviews including reviews of solution architectures design artefacts and source code reviews addressing technical debt and recommending alternative robust solutions where appropriate;
• Produce and maintain technical documentation including solution architecture documentation operational maintenance manuals version description documents release guidelines and user manuals;
• Implement task automation and continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) for ICT projects;
• Actively participate in the secure software development life cycle (SSDLC) of information systems and monitor and ensure the appropriate security audits posture of the systems including preparing and assisting for security audits;
• Collaborate with ICT governance/oversight group to align ICT services and infrastructure with corporate strategy.
