Mechanic
Location: Bishops Stortford
Salary: Up to 40000 per annum DOE
We are supporting a respected independent automotive workshop in Bishops Stortford who are looking for an experienced Mechanic to join their team. If you are confident with timing chains clutches diagnostics and general repairs this is an excellent opportunity to join a supportive and established garage.
You will be responsible for:
Servicing diagnostics MOT preparation and repairs
Working across a variety of makes and models
Using modern diagnostic equipment and tools
Carrying out tasks such as steering suspension cambelts exhausts brakes air-conditioning and battery replacements
Maintaining a clean and organised workshop
This is a hands-on role within a friendly team where pride in workmanship and customer care are key values.
This is a family-run independent garage with a loyal customer base built on trust and quality service. They are RMI-approved with DVSA-approved MOT facilities.

Previous experience as a Mechanic / Vehicle Technician
Comfortable with servicing diagnostics MOT preparation and repairs
Ability to use diagnostic systems
Time-served or formally qualified
Monday to Friday: 08:00 17:30
No weekends
