Job Summary
Transportation Coordinator
Location: Springdale AR (Onsite)
Duration: 3 Months Pay: $21/hr
Shifts:
- SunTue Every Other Sat 8:00 PM8:00 AM
- WedFri Every Other Sat 8:00 PM8:00 AM
Training: MonFri 7:30 AM4:30 PM onsite
Summary:
The Transportation Coordinator supports daily shipping operations by communicating with carriers customers and internal departments to ensure on-time delivery. This role involves managing scheduling systems tracking shipments and resolving transportation issues.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate freight movement and delivery timelines.
- Communicate professionally with carriers and customers regarding load status.
- Use dispatch systems to monitor transportation activity.
- Maintain scheduling through external logistics portals.
- Resolve shipping delays and provide proactive issue resolution.
- Support continuous improvement in logistics workflows.
Requirements:
- Bachelors degree or equivalent logistics experience.
- 13 years in transportation dispatching or customer support.
- Proficient in MS Office & email correspondence.
- Strong communication organization and problem-solving skills.
