Job Summary

Job Title: Mammography Technologist
Location: Alpharetta GA (Travel Assignment)
Duration: 13 Weeks
Schedule: Monday Friday 9:30 AM 6:00 PM

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Mammography Technologist to provide high-quality breast imaging services in a clinical setting. The ideal candidate will be confident working with minimal supervision able to perform advanced mammography procedures and skilled in providing compassionate care to patients.

Key Responsibilities

Perform screening and diagnostic mammograms in accordance with established imaging protocols.
Demonstrate competency in stereotactic biopsy and/or perform QC processes related to mammography.
Perform specialized breast imaging procedures including needle localization and ductograms.
Position patients correctly to obtain optimal imaging quality while prioritizing safety and comfort.
Maintain accurate patient and imaging documentation in compliance with regulatory and departmental standards.
Work effectively in environments requiring independent practice and autonomous decision-making.
Collaborate with Radiologists nursing staff and support teams to ensure continuity of patient care.

Requirements

Experience:

Minimum 2 years of recent Mammography experience required.

Certifications:

ARRT (Mammography) required
BLS (AHA) required

Holiday Work Requirements

Candidate must be willing to work:

One (1) Major Holiday:
- Christmas Day OR New Years Day
One (1) Minor Holiday:
- Christmas Eve OR New Years Eve
