Responsibilities:
- Perform the work specified on the repair order efficiently and in accordance with the dealerships standards.
- Test-drive vehicles and test components and systems using diagnostic tools and special service equipment
- Diagnosing maintaining and repairing vehicle automotive systems including engine transmission electrical steering suspension brakes air conditioning etc.
- Communicate directly with the Service Advisor so that customers can be informed if any additional service is needed. Providing an estimate of thetime required for additional repairs
- Executing repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications
Qualifications:
- Valid drivers license
- Diagnostic skills in electrical transmission and engine systems
- Maintenance and repair skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Self-motivated with a desire to excel in this position
- Dependability and a positive attitude
- Virginia State Inspectors License (preferred)
- This is not a trainee or express (lube tech) service position
