Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:
- Typically requires 5 Years of relevant experience in Mainframe Batch & Console operations.
- Knowledge and use of job scheduling software - CA-7 / CA-11 products.
- Proficient in z/OS environment MVS JES2 ISPF JCL.
- Knowledgeable about fundamental instructions on MVS JES2 DB2 and CICS.
- Familiarity with PRE/POST IPL Process Shutdown/Startup procedures for IDMS DB2 and CICS.
- Ability to handle console messages WTORs and resolve contention issues.
- 2-year technical education beyond high school equivalent work experience or a combination of both.
- Willingness to work any assigned shift including weekends and holidays.
- Reliable dependable and flexible to changing shifts.
- Ability to learn new technologies in support of the job.
- Proven ability to balance multiple tasks in dynamic and fast-paced environments.
- Demonstrated initiative and follow-through with minimal supervision.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Positive relationship and teamwork skills.
- Ability to travel to other sites if needed.
Strongly preferred but not required:
- Prior experience in an IT Operations support role.
- Familiarization with ITIL processes.
- Experience using ServiceNow or other incident ticket tracking systems.
- Experience with Event Management/Monitoring tools like Orion SolarWinds Splunk or Datadog.
UNIX and/or Windows server experience
- Entry-level cloud experience.
- As a public company compliance with SOX PCI FDA and other regulatory agencies/policies is essential. ITOC staff must assemble and retain appropriate artifacts for audit purposes and adhere to Global IT Policies & Procedures.
