Job Summary
Job Title: Head of Marine and Specialty
Location: Riyadh
Job Summary:
Our client is seeking a strategic leader to drive the growth and profitability of our Marine and Specialty insurance lines. The successful candidate will develop and implement business strategies lead a high-performing team and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement business strategies to drive growth and profitability
- Lead and develop a high-performing team of underwriters
- Oversee underwriting portfolio management and risk management
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and internal controls
- Analyze and report on financial performance identifying opportunities for improvement
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Business Insurance Maritime Studies Engineering or related field
- Masters degree or certifications (e.g. ACII CPCU) are desirable
- 15 years of experience in the insurance industry with a focus on Marine and Specialty lines
- Expertise in underwriting pricing and reinsurance for Marine and Specialty risks
- Strong knowledge of operational risk regulatory compliance and internal controls
- Proven leadership and team management skills
- Excellent communication negotiation and stakeholder management abilities
