About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled Unity Developer to join a dynamic gaming team. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the re-architecture of an existing game and help scale it for years to come. You will work closely with the Game Architect and Tech Leads to deliver technical improvements that enable new product capabilities and support the games long-term strategic vision.
Key Responsibilities:
- Incrementally build and deliver technical architecture improvements within the game.
- Collaborate closely with the Game Architect and Tech Leads to investigate design and implement technical solutions.
- Actively contribute to evolving team processes planning and ways of working.
- Support re-architecture initiatives and codebase enhancements to ensure long-term scalability of the game.
Requirements:
- Strong experience in Unity (C#) development.
- Solid understanding of software engineering principles including SOLID design.
- Experience with code refactoring and developing scalable systems.
- Familiarity with Test Driven Development (TDD) and Behavior Driven Development (BDD).
- Proactive collaborative team player with strong self-leadership and a can-do attitude.
- Comfortable working on exploratory tasks and tackling unknown challenges.
- Degree in Engineering or a related technical field (or equivalent experience minimum 4 years).
