QC Inspector – Oil & Gas / Industrial Projects
Location: Doha Qatar
Job Type: Full-time – Contract basis
About the Role
We are looking for a skilled QC Inspector to join our quality team for ongoing oil & gas and industrial projects. The candidate should have hands-on experience with QatarEnergy standards and strong technical knowledge of inspection testing and quality control procedures in EPC environments.
Key Responsibilities
* Perform inspection and testing activities for piping welding mechanical civil or coating works as per approved ITPs and project specifications.
* Ensure all materials and workmanship comply with QatarEnergy and international standards (ASME API ISO etc.).
* Verify and review material certificates calibration records and test reports.
* Monitor site activities and raise inspection requests (IRs) as required.
* Identify and report non-conformances assist in corrective actions and maintain accurate QC documentation.
* Coordinate with clients consultants and subcontractors during inspection stages.
* Support QA/QC Engineer in preparing final dossiers and handover documentation.
Qualifications & Experience
* Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related discipline.
* Minimum 5 years’ experience as a QC Inspector in oil & gas or industrial projects.
* Prior experience in QatarEnergy or major oil & gas projects is highly preferred.
* Certified in one or more of the following: CSWIP 3.1 / AWS / BGAS / NDT Level II / Coating Inspector.
* Strong knowledge of QA/QC procedures inspection techniques and documentation.
* Good communication and reporting skills.
