Sovah Health is a regional health care delivery system with 2 hospital campuses Danville and Martinsville. Each facility has a 24/7 Emergency Room Outpatient Imaging Center and over 20 primary and specialty care physician clinics. Our Danville location is also a teaching hospital that trains medical students and physician residents specializing in family and internal medicine.
How youll contribute
A Scheduling Coordinator who excels in this role:
- Schedules surgical cases within the hospital Operating Room One-Day Surgery and Physician Offices.
- Works with interdisciplinary teams to communicate patient needs add-on cases or cancellations.
- Answers telephone documents and communicates necessary information promptly.
- Orders and stocks upplies as needed.
- Prepares and enters patient charges into computerized scheduling system.

What were looking for
Applicants should have a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Prior scheduling experience in a healthcare setting is highly preferred.
- Strong computer and communication skills required.
