1st Shift: Monday Friday 7AM 3PM

What You Will Do

  • Lead and supervise Quality inspectors metrology and calibration team to meet product quality and customers delivery expectation.
  • Coach and develop team member skills establish job expectations and manage work performance.
  • Able to plan perform and support operation with addressing risks and opportunities.
  • Support inspection benches including inspection plans equipment and techniques.
  • Manage CMM equipment and measurement tool calibration schedules with internal calibration and external calibration teams.
  • Manage team to support first article inspection (FAI) process.
  • Perform Relentless Root Cause Analysis (RRCA) on product and process non-conformance.
  • Maintain implement and improve quality control procedures and inspection processes.
  • Participate in performance improvement processes through CORE. To drive existing and future improvement projects.
  • Work with 2nd 3rd and 4th shift supervisors on priorities and needs
  • Ensure adherence to and support continuous improvement of standard work for team members.
  • Lead educate and instruct shop personnel on Quality procedures and Standards compliance.
  • Perform supervisory related activities & manage receiving inspection activities.

Qualifications You Must Have

  • Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years of experience
  • 4 or more years of experience in a Quality Supervisory role within a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience with CNC and/or CMM Machines
  • Strong facilitation presentation skills with strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience with MS Office products and ERP systems

Qualifications We Prefer

  • Previous inspection experience in a Quality manufacturing environment
  • Previous Aerospace manufacturing experience
  • Experience in SAP.
  • Lean Manufacturing experience.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in reading and interpreting engineering documentation and drawings.

Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees as they are essential to the development of our products.

The salary range for this role is 82000 USD - 164000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer including but not limited to the role function and associated responsibilities a candidates work experience location education/training and key skills.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including but not limited to individual performance business unit performance and/or the companys performance.

This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
