Job Summary
Job Title: HVAC Engineer
Location: TBD
Summary: We are seeking a motivated and technically proficient HVAC Sales Engineer to join our team. As a manufacturers representative you will play a key role in providing engineering support and technical expertise to consulting engineers mechanical contractors and end-users. This position involves sizing selecting and promoting commercial and industrial HVAC equipment along with delivering outstanding customer service and maintaining strong client relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support and equipment selection assistance to engineers contractors and architects.
- Interpret project plans and specifications to recommend HVAC products that meet performance and budget requirements.
- Prepare and deliver accurate HVAC system designs proposals and submittals.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients manufacturers and internal teams.
- Attend job site meetings and provide technical support during installation and commissioning phases.
- Stay current on industry trends product updates and building codes relevant to HVAC systems.
- Assist in training sessions and lunch & learns for engineers and contractors.
- Support sales team in achieving territory and product line goals.
Ideal Candidates:
- Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field (or equivalent HVAC industry experience).
- 2 years of experience in HVAC design sales or technical support (manufacturer or rep firm preferred).
- Strong understanding of HVAC principles and system components
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and HVAC selection software
- Excellent communication organizational and problem-solving skills
- Self-motivated and able to manage multiple priorities.
- EIT or PE license is a plus but not required.
