Role description:

  • To support the delivery of Mechanical Electrical & Public Health (MEP) Technical Due Diligence (TDD) Building Energy Rating audits and project monitoring activities for the Lenders Investors & Insurers (LII) team.
  • The role will increase team capacity enhance efficiency and enable improved client service for Arcadis growing workload in the built environment sector within Ireland and the UK.

Role accountabilities:

Technical Due Diligence Audits:

  • Conduct technical reviews of installation projects specifications and maintenance documentation for various asset types (industrial residential tertiary).
  • Analyse regulatory compliance design and operating conditions and equipment lifespan.
  • Support clients during transaction processes

Building Energy Rating Audits:

  • Prepare improvement and optimisation proposals.
  • Assist clients during transactions linked to energy performance.

MEP Support in Project Monitoring:

  • Participate in project execution reviews prepare monthly monitoring reports and conduct technical site visits.
  • Provide ongoing support to clients throughout the construction lifecycle

Collaboration and Departmental Support:

  • Work closely withcolleagues across Ireland and the UK supporting cross-team collaboration and resource optimisation
  • Take on delegated tasks to free up senior staff for strategic activities

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Experience in a similar role ideally within M&E consulting or the asset management sector.
  • Exposure to technical report writing and use of surveying/reporting software
  • Experience working in the built environment sector
  • Understanding of regulatory compliance design and operation of mechanical and electrical systems.
  • Ability to analyse technical documentation and deliver clear actionable recommendations.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Bachelors degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
  • Experience in M&E consulting asset management or the built environment (desirable)
  • Proficiency in technical report writing surveying and reporting software (desirable)
  • A focus on digital solutions and process optimisation
