Director, Product Management (Digital Health Care)

Samsung Research America is seeking an experienced highly motivated individual to join our Digital Health team as a product management leader and be a core part of a passionate team charged with developing incubating and launching innovative product concepts that will transform the future of Samsung Health.

Digital Health is a multi-disciplinary agile team working on designing and developing innovative digital health products services and solutions. The goal is to significantly empower consumers patients clinicians and developers so they can leverage smartphones wearables medical devices and IoTs in the health and wellness domain. Position Summary

You will be responsible for driving next generation of health features with Samsung will involve planning and developing future products and features for managing shared health journeys. As a product leader you will develop innovative product concepts articulate the product vision and competitive positioning define product requirements and play a critical role in influencing both internal and external stakeholders to develop and deliver products that create value for consumers providers researchers and other stakeholders and advance Samsungs vision for Digital Health.

Samsung wants to build a next generation of health hub that allows for you to manage your health and wellness in a unified experience.

Position Responsibilities

• Create novel and innovative product strategy and product concepts that contribute to a robust product development pipeline
• Lead the design thinking process for your teamfrom problem definition to design implementation
• Drive product strategy (define product vision strategy roadmap analytics and success metrics; collaborate with internal business and strategy teams to strengthen product position)
• Drive product development working closely with technical program managers and development leads (market and user research design development validation and deployment)
• Own product requirement document (PRD) user guide and product performance reporting; be the single point of contact for key stakeholders including executives partners business strategy engineering design QA operations and legal
• Lead product management including market opportunity and user need identification product vision & strategy formation roadmap product definition & development business case development competitive positioning goal/KPI setting & monitoring

Required Skills

• MD/Masters of Science in Health/ Bachelor/Clinical science related fields OR with experience in care plans or equivalent combination of education training and experience
• 12 years of product management experience with a minimum of 5 years in building health products with provider(physician) care plans
• A user-centered and iterative approach to designing software for people
• Knowledge of AI/ML concepts related to building personalization systems
• Experience in building products that drive sustained engagement
