Job Summary
Our Chemical BlendingOperator for our Metairie LA location is responsible for but not limited to loading shipping finished product by truck rail blending lube oils inspecting shipping containers and preparing and reviewing all paperwork for bulk shipments of lube oil products to ship domestic and international.

Responsibilities
- Ensures Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices policies and processes and acting in a safe manner at all times
- Review paperwork to insure compliance with company governmental rules and regulations
- Sample all inbound rail cars trucks and trailers
- Prepare the sample and submit for lab analysis
- Prepares paperwork receipts for filing and processing
- Unload rail cars trucks and trailers into the used oil receiving tanks
- Supervise other Blending & Unloading Operators distribute workloads
- General housekeeping of the facility
- Other duties as required
Qualifications
What does it take to work for Safety-Kleen
- 2 years of loading/unloading and chemical blending experience preferred
- Forklift experience preferred
- Ability to work in hot and cold weather conditions
- Basic computer knowledge
- Work well in a team environment
- Must be able to stand for long periods stoop climb and lift up to 50lbs
