Penrose - St. Francis Health Services is a full-service 712-bed acute care provider in Colorado Springs comprised of Penrose Hospital St. Francis Hospital and St. Francis Hospital - Interquest. As a Rehab Tech you will:

• Delegate direct or indirect patient care under the direct supervision of a physical therapist occupational therapist speech language pathologist or other licensed/registered clinicians.
• Treatment set-up and take-down.
• Patient scheduling.
• Filing.
• Stocking supplies.
• Tracking data.
• Equipment maintenance and cleaning.

In addition to bringing your whole self to the workplace each day qualified candidates will need the following:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous rehab experience in outpatient inpatient or inpatient rehab unit preferred
• Knowledge of medical terminology preferred
• Basic computer skills required
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association

Physical Requirements-Medium Work - exert/lift up to 50 lbs. force occasionally and/or up to 20 lbs. frequently and/or up to 10 lbs. constantly

Contribute to our team at Penrose Hospital in an important PRN (as-needed) capacity! Were looking for an individual with strong computer skills who can work a variable schedule Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM and who is available to assist with holiday coverage by working one winter and one summer holiday shift each year.
