Job Description: Senior Presales
Consultant Location: Hyderabad / Pune
We are seeking an experienced and customer-focused Senior Presales Consultant to join our team.
The ideal candidate will have a strong blend of technical expertise and business acumen with 5-7 years of experience in the IT industry including at least 3 years in a dedicated presales role.
This position requires exceptional communication skills and the ability to translate complex technical concepts into compelling business value propositions for clients.
Responsibilities:
1. Do discovery sessions with prospects and customers to understand their business challenges and technical requirements 2. Develop and deliver compelling technical presentations tailored to client needs and pain points
3. Create and present detailed technical proposals ROI analyses and business cases to support sales opportunities
4. Respond to RFPs/RFIs with detailed technical responses that address customer requirements and showcase competitive advantages
5. Stay current with industry trends competitor offerings and emerging technologies to enhance solution positioning
6. Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders and technical decision-makers at client organizations
7. Develop reusable assets demo environments and technical collateral to support sales activities
8. Participate in industry events webinars and customer forums to enhance company visibility and thought leadership
9. Mentor junior presales team members and share best practices within the organization
10. Provide feedback to PoC and product teams on customer requirements and market trends to influence roadmap
11. Collaborate with implementation teams to ensure smooth transition from sales to delivery
12. Track and report on presales activities engagement metrics and win/loss analyses
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in computer science Information Technology or related field; MBA or technical masters degree preferred
5-7 years of experience in the IT industry with at least 3 years in a presales role working on Healthcare deals
Strong technical background with expertise in at least one major technology stack (Cloud Microsoft Java) and familiarity with others
Excellent presentation and communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with both technical and business audiences
Proven track record of contributing to successful sales cycles and high-value deals
Experience in solution design technical proposal development and competitive positioning
Excellent problem-solving abilities and the capacity to think quickly on your feet during client interactions
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships with clients and internal stakeholders
Strong project management skills with a focus on meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Demonstrated ability to adapt technical messaging to different audiences and business contexts
