Job Summary and Responsibilities
- Prepares distributes and delivers medications in accordance with CSH policies and procedures The Joint Commission requirements and Department of Health regulations.
- Performs clerical and administrative tasks in support of the day to day operations of the department.
- Trained and certified in IV admixture preparation including all regulatory and compliance requirements with required training and documentation. This may include preparation and handling of hazardous / chemotherapy medication if applicable.
- Maintains proper medication and supply stock levels
- Operates and maintains automated medication delivery systems and devices.
Job Requirements
- High School Diploma/GED
- 6 months of compounding IV medication
- Texas Pharmacy Tech License
