Tintern seeks to appoint a Secondary Learning Enhancement Teacher with a track record of supporting students with diverse learning needs and contributing positively to the broader school culture.

About the Role

As a key member of the Learning Enhancement Department you will work collaboratively with the Head of Learning Enhancement Secondary and classroom teachers to provide individual and group support for students requiring learning assistance. You will design and implement learning programs develop Individual Learning Plans and contribute to a school wide approach that supports differentiated and inclusive teaching practices. The role also involves conducting assessments liaising with parents and specialist professionals and providing advice to staff to ensure students learning needs are effectively met.

This is a full time ongoing teaching role commencing Term 1 2026.

About You

You will be an experienced and caring educator who demonstrates excellence in supporting students with diverse learning profiles. You will demonstrate:

• Careand connectedness with students
• Current VIT registration
• Relevant qualifications in Special or Inclusive Education
• Experience in Learning Enhancement within a Secondary School setting
• Strong understanding of inclusive education practices and current research
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work collaboratively with students parents and staff
• High level organisational and time management skills
• Strong digital literacy skills
