About the opportunity
As part of theDiscovaGlobal Marketing team the Graphic Design Intern will support the creation and delivery of visually engaging materials that helpcommunicateour brand effectively. This role offers hands-on experience in applying design principles learning brand consistency and supporting marketing initiatives under the guidance of senior designers and marketing managers.
Responsibilities
Assistthe design team in creating marketing materials such as brochures posters digital assets simple video editing and social media graphics.
Collaborate with designers writers and other team members tomaintainbrand alignment across all collaterals.
Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute creative ideas for campaigns.
Help ensure all designs adhere toDiscovasbrand guidelines.
Support with resizing layout updates and adaptation of existing assets for different formats.
Assistin imagery and video footage management and editing includingsourcingorganising and retouching photos for use across marketing channels.
Assistwith image editing retouching and preparing files for print and digital use. Stay updated on design trends relevant to travel and marketing.
About You
Currently pursuing or recentlycompletedaBachelorsdegree or diploma in Graphic Design Visual Communication or a related field.
Basic knowledge of visual communication design principles typography and layout.
Proficiencyin Adobe Illustrator Photoshop InDesign and Canva.
Familiarity with Adobe Premier and After Effects is a plus.
Basic understanding of both print and digital design formats.
A portfolio or samples ofpreviousdesign work (academic or freelance) are highly encouraged.
