Job SummaryDiagnose and treat musculoskeletal conditions particularly those related to the spine. Perform non-invasive techniques such as spinal adjustments manipulations and other therapies to relieve pain and improve the function of the musculoskeletal system.
Essential Functions:
- Evaluate patients:Evaluate patients medical histories and conduct physical exams to determine the nature and extent of their condition. (20%)
- Develop treatment plans:Based on the evaluation develop treatment plans tailored to each patients specific needs. These may include spinal adjustments therapeutic exercises and other therapies. (20%)
- Perform spinal adjustments:Manipulate the spine and other joints in the body to improve alignment and relieve pain. (20%)
- Provide lifestyle advice:In addition to treatment may provide advice on healthy lifestyle choices including exercise diet and stress management to help patients maintain their musculoskeletal health. (20%)
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals:Work with other healthcare professionals such as physical therapists and medical doctors to provide comprehensive care to patients. (10%)
- Maintain patient records:Maintain detailed records of patients medical histories diagnoses and treatment plans to ensure high-quality care. (10%)
- Participates in clinical education of healthcare students as seen fit by supervising medical staff. (0%)
