Job Summary
The Insight Analytics Engineering team serves as Apples central data manufacturing analytics needs designing and maintaining enterprise-scale data pipelines and real-time analytics platforms that process petabytes of data daily. We partner with all business functionsfrom Hardware Engineering. Operations AppleCare delivering custom data engineering solutions self-service analytics tools and automated reporting systems that enable data-driven decision making.
- Bachelors/Masters in technical field (math statistics engineering computer science analytics or similar)
- 8 years of hands-on experience with data analytics in large scale volumes in Cloud environment AWS and GCP.
- Experience with Spark SQL Iceberg Trino and Big Data systems and tools
- Programming skills in Scala Java Python Jupyter Notebook
- Ability to work with various multi-functional teams to gather input and provide guidance
- Ability to present information to peers and senior management
- Ability to bring creative simple and logical approaches to complex problems
- Technical minded with the ability to learn new technologies
