St. Elizabeth Hospital located in Fort Morgan Colorado is a Level 3 Trauma Center and an American College of Cardiology Accredited Chest Pain Center serving northeastern Colorado. Providing care throughout the region St. Elizabeth Hospital provides cardiology maternal emergency surgical pediatrics and acute care inpatient services in addition to the multitude of subspecialists in our specialty clinic. At 50 beds St. Elizabeth is the regions referral center serving a wide span of northeastern Colorado. Since 1952 St. Elizabeth has been serving the community in Morgan County which is one of the most diverse counties in Colorado speaking more than 28 languages.

In this role as a Physical Therapist (PT) you will be responsible for a continuum of services providing care to patients with neuromuscular orthopedic and other physically-related disorders requiring mobility training strengthening modalities specialized manual therapy and neuromuscular reeducation. As a Physical Therapist you will also utilize the rehab process to promote and restore the optimal health and well-being of the patient. While in this position you will assume personal accountability for organizational mission and core values.
Job Requirements
In addition to bringing your whole self to the workplace each day qualified Physical Therapist candidates will need the following:
- Previous work experience providing direct patient care in outpatient inpatient or inpatient rehab unit preferred
- Prior use of electronic medical records (EMR) preferred
- Bachelor Degree in Physical Therapy required
- Masters or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy preferred
- Current Colorado state licensure as a Physical Therapist required
- BLS through the American Heart Association required
- Dry Needling Certification or Education preferred
- Only required if performing the Dry Needling function: Dry Needling Certification or Education.
Physical Requirements-Exert up to 50lbs force occasionally and/or up to 20lbs frequently and/or up to 10lbs constantly
At our Fort Morgan location this full-time physical therapy position comes with comprehensive benefits. The available shifts are variable. You have the option of 8:00 am to 6:00 pm. Five 8-hour days or four days a order to cover inpatient evaluations we do need a weekend rotation. New graduates can be trained by us. Eighty percent of our patients are adult orthopaedic outpatients and twenty percent are neuro inpatient acute care patients.
