Transplant Nephrology Fellow

The Medical College of Wisconsin in affiliation with Froedtert Hospital have an open trainee position in the Transplant Nephrology Fellowship. The program is 1 year of training and is certified by the United Network for Organ Sharing (UNOS). Minimum qualifications include an earned doctorate in medicine as well as board certified or eligible in Nephrology and have the qualifications for a faculty appointment at the Medical College of Wisconsin. The fellow will be hired as Instructor in the Department of Medicine Division of Nephrology.

The Division of Nephrology consists of twenty-one faculty members that serve four hospitals including Froedtert Hospital Childrens Hospital of Wisconsin Community Memorial Hospital and the Zablocki V.A. Medical addition the Transplant Nephrologists serve in outreach clinics.

The fellow will be based at Froedtert Hospital which is the leading adult medical facility at the Milwaukee Regional Medical Center a comprehensive 225-acre medical campus located approximately 20 minutes from downtown Milwaukee. Milwaukee is a culturally diverse city on the shores of Lake Michigan 90 miles north of Chicago which supports urban suburban and semi-rural lifestyles with excellent school systems and a vibrant cosmopolitan and ethnically diverse community. Music sports education and a variety of cultural affairs are available.
