JOB SUMMARY

The Director of Marketing is responsible for the planning direction control and coordination of all marketing activities with an emphasis on public relations. Promotes and maintains good communications and marketing strategies in order to enhance the prestigious image of the hotel and by doing so contributes to the revenues of the hotel. The Director of Marketing is responsible for developing and executing comprehensive marketing strategies that drive brand awareness customer engagement and revenue growth. This role oversees all aspects of marketing including digital traditional and experiential channels ensuring alignment with organizational goals and market trends.

SKILLS EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS

High school diploma or GED; 4 years experience in the sales and marketing guest services front desk or related professional area.
OR
2-year degree from an accredited university in Business Administration Marketing Hotel and Restaurant Management or related major; 2 years experience in the sales and marketing or related professional area.

• Five star hotel experience essential
• Experience of developing marketing strategies and managing digital campaigns essential
• Deep knowledge of hospitality marketing brand positioning and customer behaviour essential
• Proficiency in data analysis and good financial acumen required
• Creative and operational skills to develop stand-out marketing campaigns and promotions
• Leadership and inter-personal skills
