Head of Production Test & In Service Support

Your role

As Head of Production Test & In-Service Support (ISS) you will take full ownership of all testing and ISS operations within the Fighter Core Capabilities Production unit based in Järfälla. You will lead a high-performing management team of five line-managers with full accountability for all aspects of production testing and in-service support.

With all test-related functions under your responsibility you will oversee test development test equipment maintenance and test execution ensuring seamless integration between development production testing equipment maintenance and addition you will drive the continued development and expansion of our In-Service Support operations. This includes establishing new processes and ways of working while also ensuring we meet current business demands and prepare for future needs.

Your organization will include both blue-collar team members (ISS technicians and assemblers) and white-collar professionals (Test Engineers Quality Assurance Engineers and Test Developers for both software and hardware) reflecting the wide scope of your leadership. You will also have full-time access to a dedicated support team including Industrialization Engineers Quality Engineers and a Production Planner giving you the resources needed to drive operational excellence efficiency and continuous improvement across the board.

Your daily work will require strong communication and collaboration skills as you will engage with a wide range of internal stakeholders. While your primary focus will be on leading your managers and teams within Production Järfälla you will also work cross-functionally with departments across Surveillance and the Fighter Core Capabilities business unit.

Your profile

Required skills:

• Master of Science in Engineering adequate educational or equal working experience
• Skills to combine strategic thinking with operational actions
• Strong business understanding and customer focus
• Proven ability and interest in leading (leading leaders) developing and challenging the organisation management teams and employees
• Minimum three years of leadership experience within a relevant area
• Skilled in communications
• Excellent skills in spoken and written Swedish and English
