We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Executive Housekeeper/Director of Housekeeping to join our team in 6th of October City this pivotal leadership role you will oversee all aspects of our housekeeping operations ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness guest satisfaction and operational efficiency.
- Develop and implement housekeeping policies procedures and quality standards
- Manage and mentor a large team of housekeeping staff including supervisors and room attendants
- Create and oversee departmental budgets including labor costs and supplies
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure seamless guest experiences
- Conduct regular inspections to maintain cleanliness and presentation standards
- Implement and monitor health and safety protocols
- Manage inventory and procurement of cleaning supplies and equipment
- Analyze performance metrics and implement improvements
- Handle guest complaints and feedback related to housekeeping services
- Stay updated on industry trends and implement innovative housekeeping practices
- Ensure compliance with local regulations and environmental sustainability practices
Qualifications :
- Proven experience (5 years) in housekeeping management preferably in luxury hotels or resorts
- Bachelors degree in Hospitality Management or related field (preferred)
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Proficiency in budgeting and financial management
- In-depth knowledge of cleaning techniques products and equipment
- Experience with hospitality management software
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
- Certified Executive Housekeeper certification or equivalent (preferred)
- Thorough understanding of hospitality industry standards and best practices
- Knowledge of health safety and environmental regulations in the hospitality sector
- Commitment to delivering exceptional guest experiences
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced multicultural environment
